Three coordinated PID loops
The ECC / 10RCC platform runs three Proportional-Integral-Derivative loops in parallel to keep the machine both safe and efficient:
- Bypass valve control — modulates the blow-off valve based on Surge Deviation to prevent surge without wasting more air than necessary.
- Inlet valve pressure control — regulates inlet guide vanes/valves to hold discharge or system pressure at setpoint.
- Motor current / Full Load Amp protection — continuously monitors motor current to protect the machine from overload conditions.
